My First Blog

This bolg is in conjunction with the Nebraska Learns 2.0 project. I first viewed the 7 & 1/2 Habits of Highly Successful Lifelong Learners.

I thought the video I watched was very well done and pointed out a good way to get started. I need to make a contract with myself, set my goals, realize the obstacles I have ahead of me and get going.

Actually I've always considered myself a lifelong learner and am continually learning new software to use in my business and personal life. Presently I'm teaching myself Camtasia and Comic Life.

Later this week I will be doing a short introduction at the local community college on how the faculty can use Camtasia to enhance student leaning. And later in the month I will be doing a 3 hour evening workshop in the use of Comic Life and making personal comic strips to share with family and friends.
